The extensive Scout24 brand
family is structured according to a simple principle: as specialists the seven online marketplaces AutoScout24,
ElectronicScout24, FinanceScout24, FriendScout24, JobScout24, ImmobilienScout24 and TravelScout24 offer
a great number of goods and services.
Scout24 Holding GmbH runs the Group in strategic
terms.
The Group's newest marketplaces, Local24 and Jobs.de, also belong
to the Scout24 portfolio, but are not run under the tried and tested Scout24 brand strategy. As a search
engine for classified ads Local24 is multifaceted in terms of topics, unlike the other marketplaces,
so this platform operates under its own brand. As an innovative search technology Jobs.de backs up JobScout24's
services on a sector level, but since it uses a new search functionality it was decided to make it,
too, an independent brand.
Each of the Scout24 Group's divisions is organised
as a legally independent company. In operational terms the individual Scout24 marketplaces likewise
act autonomously and are managed on a decentralised basis by the individual sector specialists. This
organisational structure ensures that as one of the last intermediary agencies the Group can give its
customers direct help round the clock with their decision-making on matters of relevance to their everyday
life.
The Scout24 Group is a wholly-owned subsidiary of the Deutsche
Telekom Group and operates in a total of 18 countries.
