As part of the Android team, you will be responsible for the development of an app installed by more than 3 million users, which helps almost one million people every day in their search for their dream home. Following the “One Team” philosophy we focus on collaboration, continuous learning and technology.
How your role will look like:
- Designing, developing, and maintaining Android mobile applications.
- Ensuring the performance, reliability, and functionality of the applications.
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
- Having a strong understanding of the Android SDK, Kotlin, Android OS, and other Android-specific technologies.
- Designing, coding, testing, and debugging applications for the Android platform.
- Utilizing software development tools to develop, test, debug, and deploy quality software.
- Working with engineers, product managers, data scientists, and data analysts.
- Owning and driving architecture of major development projects.
- Performing strategic research and design for major technical areas.
What you need to succeed:
- Experience in Android developing.
- Full understanding of the Android OS internals.
- Solid experience with Kotlin.
- Experience with Jetpack, Coroutines, Retrofit.
- Experience with Dagger/Hilt.
- Knowledge of Gradle fundamentals.
- Strong domain modelling and architecture skills, and ability to base engineering decisions on product vision (nice to have).
- Hands-on experience writing high-quality unit, UI and integration tests.
- Strong experience of working in teams in an agile environment on complex projects.
- Experience with Compose, MVVM.
- A genuine interest in the Android and mobile ecosystem.
- Be able to communicate proficiently in English
