Ralf Weitz has been Chief Executive Officer of Scout24 SE since March 2025. He knows the company like few others: For over 15 years, he has played a significant role in shaping the group's success story through various leadership positions. 

Most recently, as Chief Product & Technology Officer (2023 to 2025), Ralf Weitz drove further innovations and was responsible for the Group's product, marketing, tech, and data organization. Previously, as Chief Commercial Officer (2018 to 2022), he led the sales activities of the Scout24 marketplaces, including AutoScout24 and ImmoScout24. Since February 2018, he has also served as Managing Director of ImmoScout24 and has been instrumental in developing the Group's classified real estate business. 

During his time at Scout24, he was significantly involved in some of the most important milestones in the company's history. In 2014, he supported the sale of Telekom subsidiary Scout24 to the financial investor Hellman & Friedman LLC and, in the following year, the IPO of Scout24. As Chief Sales Officer and authorized signatory of AutoScout24 (2017 to 2020), he orchestrated the strategic sale of this division to Hellman & Friedman LLC.

Before his career at Scout24, the Berlin-born economics graduate worked in mergers & acquisitions in an international environment.

Dr Dirk Schmelzer

Chief Financial OfficerMember of the Management Board and Executive Leadership Team

Dr Dirk Schmelzer is Chief Financial Officer (CFO) of the Scout24 Group. In this function he is responsible for Finance, Treasury, Tax, Controlling, Procurement & Facilities and Investor Relations. Dr. Dirk Schmelzer joined Scout24 in June 2019. Previously he was CFO of the NuCom Group, a subsidiary of ProSiebenSat.1 and Private Equity Investor General Atlantic. For more than six years prior to that, he was CFO of the public listed company Tomorrow Focus AG and its spin-off company HolidayCheck Group AG, which operates the largest German hotel rating portal. Prior to this, he was CFO in the telecommunications industry, namely at Telefónica Deutschland GmbH and HanseNet GmbH. With a doctorate in political economy, he began his professional career in 1997 as a controller, and later in various management positions within the finance sector at the predecessor companies of Telefónica O2 (Germany).

Dr Gesa Crockford

Dr Gesa Crockford has been Chief Commercial Officer of the Scout24 Group since April 2024 and is responsible for the sales organisation, customer service, customer relationship management and pricing. Since April 2022, she has also been Managing Director of Immobilien Scout GmbH. Prior to this, she had held various management positions in the company since 2016, including in the areas of Pricing, Product & Analytics and at the subsidiary FLOWFACT.

With a doctorate in business administration, she can look back on more than 20 years of experience in the design and transformation of business models, pricing and corporate strategy.  As managing director of a marketing and strategy consultancy, she worked for ten years in particular for companies in the field of e-commerce and digital business. Before that, she developed pricing strategies, structures and processes for large, globally active companies in the logistics and chemical industries at Simon Kucher & Partners.

Dr Claudia Viehweger

Chief People & Sustainability OfficerMember of the Executive Leadership Team

• Nationality: German

Dr Claudia Viehweger has been Chief People & Sustainability Officer (CPSO) of Scout24 since June 2021 and is thus responsible for the Group’s entire human resources activities as well as the topics of Sustainability, Diversity & Inclusion and Central Administration & Facility Management. Viehweger, who holds a doctorate in law, started her career as a specialist in employment law at Raue LLP in Berlin before joining Axel Springer SE as an in-house lawyer in 2011. Further positions at Axel Springer followed, including Head of Human Resources at the WELT editorial office. Most recently, Viehweger was Chief Human Resources Officer at Axel Springer National Media & Tech, where she was responsible for the HR topics of Axel Springer's digital brands. Viehweger also held the position of Vice President People & Culture at Axel Springer for the entire “News Media National” segment.

Dr Christian Ronge

Dr Christian Ronge has been General Counsel since September 2019 and is thus responsible for all legal matters of Scout24 SE, including data protection and compliance. Christian Ronge was previously Head of Legal Digital at Ströer, where he was responsible for the legal advice of the group's publishing and online marketing business as well as data protection. Previous positions include working for E.ON and Uniper on corporate and capital markets matters, including complex structural measures. Ronge began his career as a lawyer in the corporate / M&A team of Allen & Overy.

Jan Sprengnetter

Jan Sprengnetter has been Managing Director and shareholder of the entire Sprengnetter Group since 2014. He is responsible for the management of the group's operational business as well as the international business.

With a degree in economics he looks back on more than 20 years of experience in the transformation of business models, digitalization and entrepreneurship. His focus has been on the interface between real estate and finance. He founded a digital real estate valuation platform starting in 2005 and developed it into one of the leading platforms for market and mortgage valuation, property inspection and portfolio valuation. Later, he successfully integrated this company into the Sprengnetter Group.
